About the Role
<p><strong>Job Title:</strong> CNC Machine Operative</p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Nuneaton</p>
<p><strong>Hours: </strong>Split Double Shift<br />
6:00am – 2:30pm Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 11:00am Friday<br />
2:15pm – 10:45pm Monday to Thursday, 10:45am – 3:45pm Friday</p>
<p><strong>Salary:</strong> £30,000 per annum + shift allowance</p>
<p><strong>Type: </strong>Fixed Term Contract (until end of 2026)</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities of a CNC Machine Operative:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Operating CNC machines to produce components to required specifications</li>
<li>Loading and unloading materials and components onto machines</li>
<li>Monitoring machine performance and reporting any issues</li>
<li>Carrying out basic measurements using gauges, verniers, and micrometers</li>
<li>Following set programmes and work instructions</li>
<li>Ensuring components meet quality standards</li>
<li>Maintaining a clean and safe working environment</li>
<li>Supporting general production and manufacturing tasks as required</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Key Skills of a CNC Machine Operative:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment (desirable)</li>
<li>Basic understanding of CNC machinery (training can be provided)</li>
<li>Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and develop new skills</li>
<li>Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team</li>
<li>Comfortable working to targets and deadlines</li>
</ul>
