<h3>About the Role</h3>
<p>A growing building performance and sustainability consultancy is looking to appoint an <strong>Intermediate IES Modeller</strong> to support the delivery of innovative and energy-efficient building designs across a diverse range of projects.</p>
<p>This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers and sustainability specialists on projects where <strong>energy performance, low-carbon design and environmental impact are key priorities</strong>.</p>
<p>You will play a key role in developing <strong>building performance simulations and energy strategies</strong>, helping project teams optimise building design and meet sustainability objectives.</p>

<h3>Key Duties</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Produce detailed <strong>building performance simulations using IES VE</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support the development of <strong>energy strategies and building optimisation</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Assess building performance including <strong>energy use, thermal comfort and environmental impact</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Work closely with <strong>architects, engineers and sustainability consultants</strong> across project teams</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Prepare technical reports and modelling outputs for internal teams and clients</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Participate in design discussions and provide input on sustainable design approaches</p>
</li>
</ul>

<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Develop accurate <strong>IES VE models for a variety of building types</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform <strong>energy modelling and thermal analysis</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Contribute to achieving <strong>energy efficiency and compliance targets</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Communicate modelling results clearly to project teams</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Maintain awareness of <strong>industry guidance, regulations and modelling best practice</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Support the delivery of sustainable and efficient building solutions</p>
</li>
</ul>

<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>3+ years’ experience</strong> in building performance modelling</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong working knowledge of <strong>IES VE software</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Background within <strong>building services, sustainability or building physics</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Good analytical and problem-solving abilities</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Strong written and verbal communication skills</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Relevant degree in <strong>engineering, sustainability, building physics or similar</strong> (desirable)</p>
</li>
