About the role: Justteachers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full time, long-term position starting in September 2026 at an inclusive primary school in the Keighley area. The school is passionate about ensuring every child can access high-quality learning opportunities and is committed to providing tailored support for pupils with additional needs. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping pupils build confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviours. Key Skills and Attributes: • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with SEND • Assist in implementing individual education and support plans • Adapt resources and activities to meet a range of learning needs • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development • Promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning • Work closely with the class teacher, SENDCo, and external professionals where required • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff • Uphold safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times Pre-requisites: • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience • Previous experience supporting children with SEND within a school setting • Knowledge of additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and SEMH is desirable • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills • Enhanced DBS clearance If you are interested in this role, please apply via the form below.
