STARS offers dynamic internships for students and recent graduates in both winter and summer. Gain hands-on experience in helping individuals with disabilities enjoy outdoor recreation in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado. We welcome interns from fields such as Outdoor Education, Recreation, Health & Exercise Science, Nonprofit Management and Psychology. Interns rotate through various aspects of our organization, including private and group instruction, camp programs, administrative tasks, and community outreach.
