SEND Support - Primary - Halifax (Short-term supply in September)

About the Role:

Justteachers is recruiting an enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant for a short-term supply role in a primary school in Halifax. This rewarding opportunity is ideal for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them access learning in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEND within the classroom setting.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver targeted interventions.
• Help pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons.
• Assist with social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Contribute to a positive and nurturing learning environment.

Pre-requisites:

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school.
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and practice.
• Ability to provide two education-based references.
