About the Role

A dynamic opportunity for a Laboratory Technician (Electrode Manufacture) to contribute to the development of advanced battery materials in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The role involves hands-on experimental work, data analysis, and close collaboration with engineering teams to support project milestones and technical goals.

 

The Laboratory Technician (Electrode Manufacture) will:

  • Materials processing through mixing, coating and formulations of slurries.
  • Develop and support the advancement of lithium-sulfur battery materials.
  • Design and execute experimental procedures and routine testing.
  • Manufacture and characterise electrode slurries and coatings.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory and scale-up equipment.
  • Present experimental results to management and project teams.
  • Maintain standard operating procedures and ensure safe lab practices.

 

The Laboratory Technician (Electrode Manufacture) will have:

  • Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a scientific laboratory setting.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop a broad range of technical skills.
  • Familiarity with coating manufacture, mixing, and formulation design (desirable).
