<h2><strong>The Role</strong></h2>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join a high-performing Recycling & Waste Management function. This is a dynamic, multi-site role where you will play a critical part in ensuring operations consistently meet environmental, regulatory, and technical standards.</p>

<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<h3><strong>Compliance & Technical Oversight</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Assess recycling and waste activities against relevant legislation and environmental standards</li>
<li>Verify material compliance and suitability against technical specifications</li>
<li>Review waste acceptance data to ensure accuracy and completeness</li>
<li>Support evidence generation for End-of-Waste status</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Audits, Inspections & Sampling</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead audits across operational sites, suppliers, and third parties</li>
<li>Identify non-conformances and support corrective action tracking</li>
<li>Carry out inspections, sampling, and coordinate testing activities</li>
<li>Maintain audit schedules and compliance records</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Documentation & Data Management</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Manage compliance-critical documentation, including test certificates and records</li>
<li>Support technical submissions and compliance evidence packs</li>
<li>Collate and validate data for reporting and regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Monitor KPIs such as waste flows and landfill diversion</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Stakeholder Collaboration</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Work cross-functionally with operational, technical, and environmental teams</li>
<li>Provide clear, actionable feedback following audits and inspections</li>
<li>Contribute to site meetings and continuous improvement initiatives</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Health, Safety & Environment</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Promote and adhere to strong HSE practices</li>
<li>Identify and report risks proactively</li>
<li>Support a culture of safety, responsibility, and compliance</li>

<li>Experience in environmental compliance, waste management, or regulatory roles</li>
<li>Strong understanding of environmental legislation and waste protocols</li>
<li>Proven experience in auditing, inspections, or sampling</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy</li>
<li>Confident communicator with strong report-writing skills</li>
<li>Highly organised with strong documentation control discipline</li>
<li>Comfortable working independently across multiple locations</li>
<li>Full UK driving licence</li>
