Electrical Assembler in Clinton, NC

Job Summary

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable assembler with a electrical assembly experience to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work in our manufacturing department, install electrical boxes/components, conduits and cables in accordance to electrical drawings. Performs work to instructions and pre-established guidelines for the job. Follows established quality and safety standards. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm/4:30pm + Saturday Overtime & Sunday Doubletime as needed

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble pull boxes per instructions. Install necessary fittings, cut conduit, cables to predefined lengths, and assemble with safety devices. 
  • Read, analyze, and follow technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly. Perform machine and hand conduit bending base on predefined angel and radius. 
  • Perform cabling of entire escalator per job specific electrical drawings and/or installer/technician instructions.
  • Inspect and test finished products and sub-assemblies for proper function and defects.
  • Install and secure all safety switches, light fixtures and various electrical components per instructions. 
  • Prepare and organize parts, materials, and equipment for production.
  • Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment, including basic, routine repairs.
  • Document production data and report any malfunctions or defects. 

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to work with machinery. 
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., tape measures, calipers).
  • High level of accuracy in assembling complex, precise components.
  • High school diploma or GED is generally required, with prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling and reaching and handling. 
  • Submit to Drug Screen and Background Search
