About the Role
Join Mizuho as SAP Functional Lead! The Finance and Treasury IT team provides strategic solutions and support for the various applications and platforms supporting Finance and Treasury functions. The team is responsible for: Solution architecting Development and support Technical documentation Coordinating with the Finance and Program Management teams regarding program deliverables Unit Testing and UAT support Financial Application Management Production Release deployment In this role you will drive the Finance IT projects and support Initiatives from SAP side. The ideal candidate would have a strong background in partnering with business to analyze the requirements and lead a team of developers to design and deploy solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the SAP Functional team responsible for the functional design, configuration, and validation of the SAP solution in AP and FA area. Lead the functional design sessions in SAP projects by defining functional design gaps and designing solutions using latest technologies available in SAP S4 2023 or latest platforms. Drive innovation and automation wherever it is possible to improve business or technology processes. Ensure appropriate support and new development documentation is followed (i.e. scope, design, test plans, issues and cutover lists, project plans). Facilitate the issue resolution process as Level 3 SME. Demonstrate effective team skills with strong oral and written communications and deliverables Proactively work with business stakeholders to comprehend the requirements and pain points. Evaluate new products that will create business process efficiency. Stay on top of the deliverables to keep up with the committed SLA’s Be a transparent, continuous communicator and team player to deliver the best results Qualifications: 8–10 years of hands-on SAP functional FICO experience. Hands-on configuration experience in Accounts Payable and Fixed Asset. Additionally, GL and AR experience will be plus. Strong background in SAP S/4HANA with at least 1 year experience in 2023 version. At least 1 year experience in automating business processes using Embedded AI/ SAP BTP / SAP AI Core and AI foundation. Experience with at least 2 full SAP implementations or major upgrade. Working knowledge of Procurement platform and Travel& Expense Platform (such as CONCUR) integration with SAP. Experience in Financial / Banking industry or similar regulated environments. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Experience in managing team and vendor consultants. Ability to work across time zones and support global operations. Clear communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and functional stakeholders. Bachelor’s in computer science/ engineering or similar field Preferred master’s degree such as MBA/MS SAP Certification is a plus The expected base salary ranges from $165k-$190k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
