A Day In The Life
Advanced knowledge of drafting within specified discipline (i.e. P&C and Station Eng
Assist in the distribution and monitoring of internal CAD workload
Proficiency with customer drawing standards and processes
Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD &/or Microstation)
Train and mentor new CAD Techs and interns
Troubleshoot customer file management and database issues as they arise
Analyze and replicate CAD standards on new customer drawings
Plot and scan documents/drawings to support project team
What will help you thrive in this role?
3 years related work experience in AutoCAD or Microstation
Familiarity of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Familiarity of station and structural layouts and plans
Advanced knowledge of customer programs
Advanced knowledge of drafting software
Advanced knowledge of drafting practices
Advanced knowledge of customer standards
Basic knowledge of electrical circuits
High attention to detail
Good communications skills
Ability to work in a team environment
