About the Role
Interim Senior Public Health Manager/Commissioner
Based in London, hybrid working (1 day a week onsite)
Inside IR35, 3-4 days a week
Length: 12 months
We’re seeking an interim Senior Public Health Manager/Commissioner to lead on the 0-19 commissioning portfolio and Health and Wellbeing Strategy across the Council and ICB.
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Public Health Manager/Commissioner:
Oversee the successful commissioning of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme
Report to the DPH and support on the Collaborative Agreement between the NHS and the Council
Contribute to the delivery of the Best Start in Life Strategy and the maternity and child health priorities in the draft Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy
Bring experience of commissioning 0-19 services and working across the Council and NHS
Able to evidence enabling collaborative agreements for improving the health, wellbeing and life chances of children and young people
Extensive experience Commissioning Children’s Health Services
Degree in Public Health
Excellent cross partnership and stakeholders working
