As a Project Engineer Mechanical, you play a key role in the preparation and execution of diverse and challenging projects. You will work closely with a small team of 3–4 colleagues and take responsibility for work preparation and project coordination from the planning stage through to completion.
Your responsibilities
- Work preparation: review the workscope, identify risks, and perform risk analyses. Develop the basic design into detailed designs, including the preparation of bill of materials.
- Procurement support: prepare purchasing overviews for materials and services to enable the procurement department to place orders.
- Planning & production: compile production files, create project schedules and work instructions, and set up test and inspection plans.
- Administration & reporting: ensure accurate project administration and report progress to the Project Manager.
What you bring
- An MBO+ or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
- Relevant experience as a Project Engineer or Work Preparator.
- Affinity with the offshore or process industry (preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Ridder IQ is an advantage).
- Fluency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Passion for technology and strong attention to detail.
