About the Role

We are called upon at a sensitive time when families are going through the stages of grief, but there is an acceptance that certain realities need to be addressed.</p> <p><b>Our Purpose</b></p> <p>To support families through bereavement with expert guidance and genuine compassion, making a complex process feel manageable and human.</p> <p><b>What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing:</b></p> <ul> <li>Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle.</li> <li>Ensure compliance of HR policies and procedures in line with legislation.</li> <li>Manage all HR, payroll and benefits administration and systems.</li> <li>Own all aspects of recruitment across the group.</li> <li>Manage the annual performance appraisal process.</li> <li>Act as a trusted Adviser to the Senior Management and Executive Team.</li> <li>Manage a small HR Team.</li> <li>Collaborating across teams to ensure a seamless employee experience.</li> <li>Contributing to continuous improvement and innovation in how we work.</li> </ul> <p><b>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</b></p> <p>Qualifications are desirable but not essential. We are looking for individuals with some of the following experience:</p> <ul> <li>Experience as a HR Manager or similar senior HR role.</li> <li>Strong leadership and people management skills.</li> <li>In depth knowledge of employment law, case law and best practise.</li> <li>CIPD Level 7 (or working towards).</li> </ul> <p>The type of person you&rsquo;ll be:</p> <ul> <li>A strong communicator &#8211; clear, empathetic, and confident.</li> <li>A proactive, solutions-focused individual.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.</li> <li>Experience in probate, legal services, or estate administration (role dependent).</li> <li>A passion for making a difference in people&rsquo;s lives.</li> </ul> <p><b>What We Can Offer You</b></p> <p>We believe in rewarding great work. Here&rsquo;s what you can expect:</p> <ul> <li><b>Application review</b> &#8211; We review applications on a rolling basis and will contact you when shortlisted.</li> <li><b>Initial chat</b> &#8211; A short call to get to know you better. There will be some element of competency here, but we aim for it to be more conversational (30mins).</li> <li><b>Interview</b> &#8211; This is your competency-based interview with Elle Fowell, Head of HR, and Gareth Lindop, CFO (up to 90mins with your task).</li> <li><b>Task </b>&#8211; A chance to show us how you think &#8211; this may be part of the interview or done before/after depending on the role.</li> <li><b>Final Stage </b>&#8211; Meet more of the Senior Management team and ask any final questions.</li> <li><b>Feedback</b> &#8211; We will contact you following your interview, typically within one week.</li> <li><b>Support </b>&#8211; We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident throughout our hiring process.
