This is how I experienced onboarding in my department:

Learning-onthe-job with heart, mind and a lot of patience to answer my questions.

I incorporate the following private interests into my job: I like it a lot to connect people and topics. Experiencing how they discover unknown talents and use them successfully is a wonderful feeling both in my private life and at work.
