CNC/EDM Machinist Location: Port Huron, MI Shift: 3rd Shift| Monday through Thursday | 6:30 PM to 5:00 AM Pay: Based on Experience | $20-$22 Job Type: Temp to Hire About the Opportunity Excellent manufacturing company in the Port Huron area is seeking an experienced Wire EDM Machinist to join their 3rd shift team. This is a 4 day work week with the opportunity for permanent hire. The ideal candidate will have CNC or Wire EDM machining experience, a strong work ethic, and a stable manufacturing background. Job ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate Wire EDM and CNC machines.Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.Perform machine offsets and basic adjustments.Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment.Maintain tight tolerances and high quality standards.Troubleshoot minor machining issues.Complete production documentation accurately.Follow all safety and quality procedures.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Qualifications2 Years experience operating CNC or Wire EDM machines required.Machine set up experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.Quality driven with strong attention to detail.Stable work history and dependable attendance.Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.Willingness to work 3rd shift and overtime as needed.BenefitsTemp to hire opportunity.4 day work week, Monday through Thursday.Weekly pay.Competitive pay based on experience.Opportunity for permanent employment with an excellent local manufacturer.INDMary
