About the RoleWe are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Primary School Teachers (KS1 & KS2) to join a welcoming and supportive school environment in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to gain valuable classroom experience across a variety of settings.
The role offers flexibility, with opportunities for both day-to-day supply and longer-term placements, allowing you to build strong relationships within a school community while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress where required
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in UK primary schools (KS1 and/or KS2)
Strong classroom management skills
A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
