MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Introduction
Craft is recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialty finance platform in Midtown Manhattan seeking a Marketing & Communications Manager to lead marketing strategy and execution across brand, website, and business development support. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketer who can build structure, improve messaging, and directly impact lead generation in a fast-moving fintech environment.
Why This Role Matters.
We are investing in growth and need a leader who can:
- Drive messaging and execution for a new website
- Support business development reps with targeted campaigns and collateral
- Build a clear, consistent market presence that improves qualified lead flow
This is a role with real visibility and impact. You won't just "run campaigns” — you'll help shape how we tell our story and how prospects engage with the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and refinement of brand messaging, positioning, and communication strategy
- Own website messaging and partner with internal/external teams to drive website progress, content quality, and conversion-oriented improvements
- Build and execute marketing campaigns that support business development efforts and increase qualified lead volume
- Create and maintain sales enablement assets (pitch decks, one-pagers, email content, outbound support materials)
- Partner with CEO/COO and business development leadership to align marketing priorities with revenue goals
- Translate financing model, partner ecosystem, and client value proposition into compelling content for prospects and partners
- Manage external vendors/agencies/freelancers for design, digital, and content initiatives
- Track campaign and website performance metrics; provide regular reporting and recommendations
- Ensure all communications are accurate, professional, and aligned with the company's reputation and standards
- Operate as a true individual contributor who can prioritize, execute, and iterate quickly without heavy structure
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of marketing/communications experience with increasing ownership
- Experience in fintech, lending, financial services, or similarly complex B2B environment strongly preferred
- Strong ability to simplify complex financial offerings into clear market messaging
- Proven experience supporting growth campaigns and lead generation initiatives
- Experience managing website projects and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong writing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable in a lean, high-accountability, on-site environment
- Data-driven mindset with ability to connect marketing activity to business outcomes
Location
Full-time on-site role in Midtown Manhattan
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $90,000 to $135,000 depending on experience.
Benefits include:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
- Life Insurance and Commuter Benefits
- 401(k) Retirement Plan
- Health Savings Account (HSA)
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
- End-of-year discretionary performance bonus
This role offers strong upside for a marketer who wants to make a clear imprint at a growing fintech company. The right person will shape core messaging, improve lead generation outcomes, and become a key partner to executive leadership.
