<p style="margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist / Operator / Programmer to join their manufacturing team. You will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating FANUC controlled CNC machines, using Fusion 360 or similar CAM software to produce high-precision components.</p>

<p style="margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">This is a hands-on role covering the full machining process-from interpreting engineering drawings through to producing finished, quality-assured parts.</p>

<p style="margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif"><strong>CNC Programming</strong></p>
<ul style="margin-bottom: 0cm;margin-top: 0px">
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Create, modify, and optimise CNC programs using Fusion 360 or similar CAM software</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Interpret 2D engineering drawings and 3D models</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Select tooling, cutting strategies, speeds, and feeds</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Generate tool paths for CNC milling and/or turning</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Post-process programs for FANUC controlled machines</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Simulate tool paths to ensure accuracy and prevent collisions</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Improve cycle times, tool life, and surface finish through optimisation</li>
</ul>
<p style="margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif"><strong>Machine Setup & Operation</strong></p>
<ul style="margin-bottom: 0cm;margin-top: 0px">
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Set up CNC machines including tooling, fixtures, and offsets</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Load and verify CNC programs</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Set and align work holding devices (vices, chucks, fixtures)</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Produce and check first-off parts, adjusting where required</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Operate CNC machines during production runs</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Troubleshoot machining, programming, and tooling issues</li>
</ul>

<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Ensure parts meet dimensional and tolerance requirements</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Complete setup sheets, program notes, and inspection records</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Maintain accurate program and revision control</li>

<p style="margin: 0cm;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif"><strong>Skills and Experience</strong></p>
<ul style="margin-bottom: 0cm;margin-top: 0px">
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Engineering / CNC Machining OR strong industry experience</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Proven experience with FANUC CNC machines</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Experience using Fusion 360 or similar CAM software</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Experience with 4- or 5-axis machining</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments</li>
<li style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif">Background in aerospace, automotive, defence, medical, or precision engineering</li>
