Our client is looking for an experienced Asset/Project Manager to work within there Highways and Structures team working around the M25 and surrounding areas, including Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
The Asset/Project Manager will be responsible for management of records, data, planning and control, network management, asset management,
Managing the Highways and Structures inventory and implementing company policies, with a great an emphasis surrounding Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental issues.
Responsibilities and requirements;
Monitor current assets, identifying future maintenance and developing sustainable proposals for renewals.
Manage the programme of inventory, structures and pavement inspections
Develop Schemes Database for proposal
Collation of records on Network condition, inventory, and improvement for both infrastructure and road users.
Produce and monitor inspection programme on a regular basis
Liaise and manage sub contract resources to deliver works to the required standard within timescale agreed.Carry out Risk Assessments and Method Statements, ensuring approval prior to work being carried out
Report preparation and presentation to the client when require
Keep accurate and up to date records of all work carried out by subcontractors
Identify works packages within closures, provide quantities and specifications to the operations teams when required
Must be familiar with materials performance and also road construction techniquesWorking Knowledge of Highway Maintenance Activities
Min 10 years experience in Highways maintenance
Must be an excellent leader and strong communicator
Must also be a good team player and adaptable
Well organised and able to motivate others
Qualification(s)
HNC / HND in Construction or Civil Engineering
