By supporting engineers with specialist meter reading and communication services, they help streamline operations and reduce costs and now, due to continued growth, they’re expanding their team in St.Albans.

What you’ll be doing

This is a field-based role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll be out and about across your local area, visiting commercial properties and:

• Collecting accurate utility meter readings
• Recording data in real time using a handheld device
• Liaising directly with clients on site
• Managing your own daily schedule and workload
• Arranging appointments where required
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

What you’ll need

• Full UK driving licence (max 6 points/no endorsements)
• Access to your own vehicle or willingness to use a company van
• Basic business insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be based in the AL postcode
• Ability to pass a basic DBS check
• Min 2 years’ work references
• A good level of fitness (this role involves plenty of walking and accessing meters in varied locations)
