EYFS Teacher Accrington

About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Accrington, starting in September. This is a full-time, temporary position for the full academic year, providing an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact within the Early Years setting.

The successful candidate will join a supportive and nurturing school community that is committed to providing a stimulating learning environment where children are encouraged to thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and creative EYFS lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports children’s development.
• Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where required.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleagues.
• Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s values and expectations.

Pre-requisites:

• Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
• Proven experience of teaching within an EYFS setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early childhood development.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Two education or school-based references.
