- Elementary Job Title: Teacher Job Status: Permanent/Full Time Contact: Mrs. Jennifer Durkin, Principal E-Mail: jdurkin@stjstr.org Position Overview: St. Joseph/St. Robert School in Warrington, PA is seeking a qualified candidate to join our dynamic faculty as a seventh-grade teacher for the 2026-27 school year. Duties: The teacher will plan and implement engaging lessons aligned with the Pennsylvania Common Core Standards and the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Responsibilities include serving as the seventh-grade homeroom teacher, teaching 7th-grade Religion, and teaching Math and Science to both 7th and 8th grades. This is a Confirmation year, providing a wonderful opportunity to guide students in preparing for this important sacrament. Performance Responsibilities: - Prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students. - Teach classes in alignment with Pennsylvania state standards and Archdiocese of Philadelphia guidelines. - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and support student success. - Maintain clear and consistent communication with families regarding student progress and needs. - Foster a classroom environment that promotes learning and reflects our Catholic identity. - Adapt instructional materials and methods to meet the diverse needs of students. - Monitor student growth, providing timely progress reports and report card grades. - Ensure adherence to school policies, regulations, and educational objectives. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in education or equivalent certification/experience - Teacher Certification - Updated clearances – Pennsylvania State Police Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprinting If the position is offered, the candidate will be required to complete the “Protecting God’s Children” training through the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
