About the Role
The QA Manager is a key leadership role within the fast-paced manufacturing environment at McCormick Stefanowo Plant, operating both wet and dry production processes. Reporting directly to the QA Director, this position is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety across raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products. Leading and developing the local Quality team, the QA Manager drives continuous improvement, strengthens quality culture, and partners cross-functionally to support operational excellence.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES #LI-DNI
Lead and develop the site QA team, ensuring high performance and capability growth
Oversee and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., BRC, IFS, HACCP) and regulatory requirements
Manage internal and external audits, including customer and certification audits
Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Partner with Production, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to improve quality performance and reduce non-conformities
Monitor KPIs related to quality, food safety, complaints, and incidents
Promote a strong quality and food safety culture across the site
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Proven experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment (FMCG or food preferred)
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
Strong knowledge of QMS, HACCP, BRC/IFS, and food safety regulations
Higher education in quality, food technology, or a related technical field
Experience leading audits and managing customer interactions
Strong problem-solving capability and experience with root cause methodologies
Strong communication skills, ability to build relationships, and influence stakeholders at various organizational levels.
Ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic production environment with multiple parallel priorities and deadlines.
Strong analytical skills and KPI-driven mindset
