About the Role
The ONE Group are partnering with a growing, product led SME who are located north of Cambridge, to recruit a hands on Finance Manager. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a standalone role with real ownership, where you’ll play a key part in shaping how finance supports a fast-moving and ambitious business.Reporting directly to the Director, you’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the finance function while working closely with the wider business to provide clear reporting, insight and support as the company continues to grow. It’s a role where you can genuinely make the function your own, improving processes, strengthening reporting and helping the business make confident commercial decisions.Key responsibilities· Preparing monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary· Managing cashflow and maintaining strong financial controls· Overseeing purchase ledger, sales invoicing and reconciliations· Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes· Working closely with operational teams to understand costs and margins· Supporting year-end and liaising with external accountants· Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting as the business scales· Overseeing and signing off payroll. About youYou’ll have experience in a hands-on finance role, ideally within an SME environment, and enjoy taking ownership across the full finance cycle. Candidates may be qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience, with strong Excel skills and a proactive mindset.You’ll also benefit from hybrid working, with the flexibility to work two days from home and three days in the office.
