Works independently, without direct supervision to direct and coordinate the activities of a pharmacy area which includes the direct supervision and coordination of both professional and support staff. Ensures pharmacy practice is performed within alignment of department policies and procedures. Responsible for promoting best pharmacy practices within the assigned area, within the constraints of state and federal laws, </span><span>rules</span><span> and regulations. </span><span>Works to identify operational improvements in order to provide for the most efficient and high-quality pharmaceutical care possible in the assigned area of responsibility.</span><span> Clinical pharmacists (CP) work closely with other health practitioners to meet the various needs of our patients by reviewing and approving medication orders, </span><span>monitoring</span><span> drug therapies, and </span><span>providing</span><span> drug information</span><span>. </span><span>This position improves</span><span> the health of patients by </span><span>providing</span><span> pharmaceutical care to individual patients and by serving as a resource to physicians, nurses, and other health professionals. </span><span>Provides</span><span> leadership by </span><span>facilitating</span><span> the
