Contentious Construction Solicitor | 2+ PQE | ManchesterA Manchester disputes practice is looking for a 2+ PQE solicitor with strong contentious construction experience and the ambition to develop into a recognised name in the sector.This is not a general litigation role with occasional construction disputes. The caseload is specialist, technically demanding and often high-value, the kind of work that typically sits within dedicated London construction teams. The firm has built a strong alternative: City-quality construction disputes, Manchester cost base, and a platform that accelerates development without the bottlenecks of a larger machine.The Work Clients include national contractors, developers, subcontractors, housing associations, public sector bodies and insurers. Projects range from residential and commercial developments to infrastructure and energy schemes.At 2+ PQE, you will be running your own adjudications and supporting Partners on larger-scale projects, managing disclosure and witness evidence, drafting pleadings, attending without-notice hearings and mediations, and advising clients on tactical and commercial risks. As you develop, that responsibility compounds, larger claims, more complex technical disputes, and more direct client relationships.The Platform The firm is well-established in Manchester with a strong premium brand presence.
