Financial Accountant

Our client a global technology-focused organization operating across multiple international markets. Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts for multiple international entities, ensuring compliance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances where required. Assist in the preparation and review of statutory financial statements and supporting documentation. Support the conversion of internal reporting balances to local statutory reporting requirements. Ensure adherence to financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting procedures. Collaborate with internal departments including payroll, tax, legal, and treasury to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information. Support internal and external audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries. Liaise with external service providers where required for finance-related activities across different jurisdictions. Prepare and submit indirect tax filings such as VAT and other regulatory reports where applicable. Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, processes, and internal controls. Participate in finance-related projects and other ad hoc assignments. Requirements Professionally qualified accountant or equivalent experience in a similar role. Experience working within a multinational or multi-entity accounting environment. Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles. Experience with ERP accounting systems and financial reconciliation tools is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage deadlines and deliver accurate work in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
