We’re recruiting two full-time Support Workers to join a values-led care organisation supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. This is a hands-on, active role for someone who genuinely enjoys being out and about, building consistency, and making a meaningful difference day to day.

You’ll be supporting one individual in their own home and out in the community, working in a calm, person-centred way that promotes independence, dignity and quality of life. If you’re compassionate, reliable and enjoy an active role, this could be a great fit.

Package

• £12.30 per hour (day rate)

• £13.30 per hour (night rate)

• +£2 per hour overtime rate

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 support in the home and community

• Supporting with all aspects of daily living and personal care

• Assisting with outdoor activities, walks and community access

• Supporting swimming sessions where required

• Following structured routines and care plans

• Using calm, consistent and person-centred approaches

• Supporting communication needs, including non-verbal communication

• Maintaining a safe, respectful and supportive environment

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence and confidence driving a service user’s vehicle

• Comfortable working outdoors and leading an active day

• Experience supporting autism and complex needs

• Confidence supporting individuals with epilepsy

• Comfortable providing intimate personal care

• Calm, patient and reliable approach

• Ability to work long shifts (generally 7am–9pm)

• Willingness to work every other weekend

Shifts are generally long days with some flexibility around nights, and contracted hours can be discussed at interview.
