We are seeking an experienced Paralegal Assistant with extensive probate experience to join their growing team. This is an on-site position — not remote. Location: Sherman Oaks, CA Schedule: Monday – Thursday Employment Type: Full-time, On-site Pay Rate: $29.00 – $35.00/hr DOE About the Role As a Paralegal Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys and clients, with a primary focus on probate cases. This position requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing sensitive legal documents. Probate experience is a plus but not required, and knowledge of estate planning is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys and legal staff. Draft, review, and prepare legal documents related to probate cases. Maintain organized case files, documents, and manage strict deadlines. Utilize transcription software accurately and efficiently. Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for case tracking and reporting. Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and team members. Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Paralegal Assistant in a legal setting. Proven probate experience is a must. Estate planning experience is a strong plus. Excellent typing skills and strong attention to detail. Proficiency with transcription software and Microsoft Excel. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
