Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Engineer

Infrastructure Engineer / Systems Engineer role based in Portsmouth, Hampshire, United Kingdom. This is a permanent, full-time onsite role.

This role is suited to an Infrastructure Engineer who enjoys a mix of 3rd line BAU support and meaningful project delivery across systems and infrastructure engineering environments.

The successful candidate will act as a senior technical escalation point across the infrastructure estate, support and improve on-prem systems including servers, storage and core services, and deliver infrastructure and security-focused projects from design through to implementation.

The role involves working across the Microsoft stack, including Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, device management and SCCM, while also playing an active role in cyber security initiatives such as endpoint protection, vulnerability management, penetration testing support and security improvements.

The successful candidate will bring strong 3rd line infrastructure engineering experience, solid knowledge of Windows Server, on-prem infrastructure and networking, hands-on exposure to Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID, and confidence delivering technical projects.
