About the Role

Global Veterinary Careers are delighted to be working closely with a well-established Tier-3 hospital in the Cambridgeshire region, supporting their search for a surgically focused Veterinary Surgeon. This is an exciting opportunity to take the lead on a growing orthopaedic and soft tissue caseload within a modern, progressive hospital environment.

About the Location and Practice
Based in the scenic Cambridgeshire area, this Tier-3 hospital provides 24-hour veterinary care and operates as a central hub for its surrounding practices. The site features two fully equipped operating theatres and has recently undergone refurbishment, creating a bright and welcoming environment for both patients and team members.
The hospital is supported by a dedicated team of over 20 veterinary surgeons, including certificate holders across multiple disciplines such as medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, ECC, and diagnostic imaging. A separate out-of-hours team ensures excellent continuity of care, allowing daytime vets to focus on their caseloads without overnight responsibilities.

The position is primarily daytime only, typically involving two surgical shifts and two consulting shifts per week, although flexible or part-time options can be discussed.
