Cad Technician

Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a leading heavy civils contractor to recruit two CAD Technicians for a 12-month temporary contract, with the opportunity to move to a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAD Technician with a background in civil engineering projects to join a busy and growing team. The successful candidates will support the design and technical teams in delivering accurate drawings and models for a range of heavy civil engineering projects. Your new role Produce detailed technical drawings and models using Civil 3D Support engineers and project teams with design documentation Prepare and update drawings in line with project requirements Ensure all drawings are produced to required standards and specifications Assist with revisions and updates throughout project lifecycles Work closely with site and engineering teams to ensure accuracy of information What you will need to succeed Previous experience in a CAD Technician role within civil engineering Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D Experience working on heavy civil engineering or infrastructure projects Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider project team What you will receive 12-month temporary contract with potential to become permanent Opportunity to work on major heavy civil engineering projects Supportive and collaborative team environment Based in Moira To speak in absolute confidence about this opportunity please send an up to date CV via the link provided or contact Ruairi McCann, Recruitment Manager at Vickerstock 02890 313720 Even if this position is not right for you, we may have others that are.
