Teaching Assistant - SEND Provision (Mainstream Primary School)
Simply Education is working in partnership with a mainstream primary school in Northamptonshire to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support within the school's SEND provision.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and committed individual to support children with a range of additional needs within a nurturing and inclusive primary school environment. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and develop independence both academically and socially.
The Role:
Full-time, permanent Teaching Assistant position
Supporting pupils within the school's SEND provision
Working 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and engagement
Delivering and supporting targeted interventions to meet individual needs
Assisting class teachers with learning activities, preparation, and behaviour support
Promoting a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils' emotional wellbeing and social development throughout the school day
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people (SEND experience desirable)
Calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils with additional needs
Flexible, proactive, and resilient attitude
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their potential
