Reporting to the <b>Associate Vice President of Threat Management & Response (TMR)</b>, this role is accountable for defining the CTI vision, executing against it, and ensuring intelligence delivers <b>measurable risk reduction and decision advantage</b> for senior leadership.</p><p>This role requires a <b>hands-on, modern intelligence leader</b> with strong fluency in <b>automation, AI/ML-enabled analysis, and threat-informed defense</b>, capable of integrating intelligence across security functions and influencing outcomes at the executive level.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p><i>CTI Vision & Strategy</i></p><ul><li>Define and execute a clear, multi-year CTI strategy aligned to enterprise security objectives and business risk.</li><li>Ensure threat intelligence meaningfully informs priorities, investments, and defensive decisions across TMR and EIP.</li></ul><p><i>Intelligence Program Leadership</i></p><ul><li>Lead and mature CTI across <b>strategic, operational, and tactical</b> intelligence.</li><li>Govern the intelligence lifecycle, including <b>Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs)</b>, collection, analysis, and dissemination.</li><li>Establish outcome-based metrics that demonstrate intelligence value and risk reduction.</li></ul><p><i>AI, Automation & Scale</i></p><ul><li>Apply <b>automation and AI/ML</b> to improve speed, quality, and scale of intelligence operations.</li><li>Implement practical use cases such as automated collection and enrichment, prioritization, analytic support, and intelligence-to-detection pipelines.</li><li>Ensure intelligence automation is responsibly governed and aligned with enterprise risk standards.</li></ul><p><i>Threat-Informed Defense Integration</i></p><ul><li>Embed threat intelligence into <b>SOC operations, incident response, threat hunting, detection engineering, vulnerability management, and red/purple teaming</b>.</li><li>Drive intelligence-led prioritization of controls, detections, testing, and remediation.</li></ul><p><i>Executive Communication & Advisory</i></p><ul><li>Deliver clear, actionable intelligence to senior leaders, risk forums, and executive stakeholders.</li><li>Provide authoritative threat context and guidance during incidents and strategic planning efforts.</li></ul><p><i>External Engagement</i></p><ul><li>Maintain strong engagement with ISACs/ISAOs, industry peers, and government partners.</li><li>Keep the organization informed of emerging threat trends, adversary behavior, and geopolitical risks.</li></ul><p><i>Leadership & Talent</i></p><ul><li>Lead and develop a high-performing CTI team across experience levels.</li><li>Set clear expectations, develop analytic and technical depth, and foster a culture of rigor, curiosity, and continuous improvement.</li></ul><h1><br /><b>Use your skills to make an impact </b><br /> </h1><p><b>Required Qualifications & Experience</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.</li><li><b>8–10+ years</b> of experience in cybersecurity or intelligence roles, with deep cyber threat intelligence experience.</li><li><b>5+ years</b> of people leadership experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of the cyber threat landscape, including nation-state and criminal actors.</li><li>Working expertise with intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK) and applying intelligence to defensive outcomes.</li><li>Demonstrated experience leveraging <b>automation, data analytics, or AI</b> within CTI or security operations.</li><li>Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex threats clearly and credibly.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Master's degree in one of the following:</li><li>Cybersecurity / Information Security</li><li>Computer Science / Data Science</li><li>Intelligence Studies / National Security</li><li>Business Administration (MBA) with strong security or risk background</li><li>CISSP – Signals enterprise-scale security leadership and risk thinking</li><li>GIAC GINT / GCTI – Strong credibility in intelligence tradecraft and CTI leadership</li><li>GCIA / GCED – Useful signal for threat-to-detection and SOC integration</li><li>Experience owning or defining Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIRs) for an enterprise</li><li>Proven success translating external threat intelligence into defensive prioritization</li><li>Direct exposure to:</li><li>Nation-state threat actors</li><li>Criminal ecosystems (ransomware, fraud, access brokers)</li><li>Intelligence support during real incidents or crises</li></ul><p><b>Remote/WAH requirements:</b></p><ul><li>WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office.
