Service Technician$16-$17Job DescriptionThe Service Technician operates a pump truck on a designated route to service portable restroom units in a safe, efficient, and professional manner. This role involves cleaning, sanitizing, and restocking units, completing route documentation accurately, and delivering courteous service to customers while working primarily outdoors and independently.Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate a pump truck on an assigned daily route in a safe and efficient manner.</li><li>Service portable restroom units by pumping waste from holding tanks.</li><li>Refill fresh water in portable restroom units as required.</li><li>Clean and sanitize the interior and exterior of portable restroom units to established standards.</li><li>Restock supplies such as toilet paper, deodorizers, and other necessary materials.</li><li>Perform basic inspections of portable restroom units and identify any maintenance or repair needs.</li><li>Report maintenance issues or equipment concerns promptly to the appropriate contact.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pump truck and all related equipment.</li><li>Accurately complete all required route paperwork, logs, and documentation.</li><li>Follow all safety procedures, operational guidelines, and company policies at all times.</li><li>Provide professional, courteous, and respectful service at all customer sites.</li><li>Work a consistent schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.</li><li>Support weekend work requirements when scheduled or requested.</li></ul>Essential Skills<ul><li>Valid driver’s license.</li><li>Ability to safely operate and maneuver a pump truck.</li><li>Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.</li><li>Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.</li><li>Strong work ethic and reliability.</li><li>High attention to detail in cleaning, servicing, and documentation.</li><li>Ability to work independently and follow a set route schedule.</li><li>Experience with cleaning, janitorial, repair, or sanitation tasks.</li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and tasks with minimal supervision.</li></ul>Additional Skills & Qualifications<ul><li>Driving experience with larger vehicles such as F450 or bigger is an advantage.</li><li>Real ID driver’s license is preferred.</li></ul>Why Work Here?You will join a growing organization that offers steady, full-time hours and consistent weekday scheduling, providing stability and predictability in your workweek.
