Whether you've worked primarily in SQL Server, Postgres, or a more modern cloud-based warehouse, all we really care about is that you have a strong understanding of building data pipelines and are ready to keep learning, every single day.</p>
<p><strong>Please be advised that this role is required to be located in the InterWorks Melbourne office in Melbourne, VIC. Remote work or telecommuting arrangements outside of this jurisdiction are not permissible for this position. Must be a current resident of Australia to apply.</strong></p>
<p><strong>Salary range commensurate with experience and qualifications: $130,000-$150,000 AUD</strong></p>
<h3 id="g-lvapq18w">What You’ll Do</h3>
<ul>
<li>Tackle diverse projects ranging in duration from a few days to a few months, for clients ranging from local Perth businesses to global enterprises and ASX-listed companies</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Work with disparate data sources (relational databases, flat files, Excel, HDFS/Big Data systems, high-performance analytical databases, etc.) to unify client data</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Collaborate closely with users to understand their unique needs and support them with the best solutions</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Solve data-acquisition, integration, and management problems</li>
<li class="whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Create ETL processes based on client needs while managing client expectations</li>
