Job Description
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimise downtime.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure machinery operates efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report on equipment performance.
- Assist in planning and scheduling maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency repairs.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer should have:
- Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Practical experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards in an industrial setting.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to liaise with other departments effectively.
What's on Offer
- Permanent position based near Falkirk.
- Competitive salary ranging from £40,000 - £42,000
- Working Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm
