QA Technician II Rocklin, CA $25.00/hour Job Type: Full-Time | Contract | Temp-to-Hire Join a Precision Manufacturing Team! We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Technician II to support quality inspection, product validation, and process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You' ll Do Perform incoming, in-process, and outgoing product inspections Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) in support of Quality Engineers Utilize precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and CMM equipment Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions Support calibration and ESD compliance activities Train manufacturing and inspection personnel on quality procedures Communicate effectively with Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and other cross-functional teams Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and workplace safety standards Prioritize workload independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Qualifications Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field or equivalent work experience Minimum 3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment Experience completing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet Experience using ERP systems (Oracle experience is a plus) Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, schematics, and work instructions Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills Required Technical Skills Experience with Zeiss CMM using Calypso software (Required) Proficient using: Micrometers Calipers Height Gauges Precision inspection equipment Understanding of Calibration and ESD requirements Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis Perform repetitive tasks with excellent manual dexterity Stand, move, and work in a manufacturing environment throughout the shift Ability to perform detailed visual inspections, including close-up and color vision work Why Apply? $25.00 per hour Contract-to-Hire opportunity Stable full-time schedule Opportunity to grow with an industry-leading precision manufacturing organization Collaborative, team-oriented work environment Hands-on role supporting cutting-edge manufacturing processes Apply today if you' re ready to bring your quality inspection expertise to a growing manufacturing team and take the next step in your career!
