About the Role

Support young children at the very start of their learning journey by providing high-quality care, encouragement, and a safe, nurturing environment! GSL Education are seeking a motivated and caring Early Years Practitioner to join a setting in Middlesbrough. This role involves supporting children in their early development, including personal care, while promoting learning through play and structured activities. Main Responsibilities of Early Years Practitioner (EYP): Provide a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for young children. Support learning through play, exploration, and structured activities. Assist with personal care, including nappy changing and hygiene routines. Encourage social, emotional, and physical development. Work closely with staff and parents to support each child’s progress. Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies at all times. Requirements of Early Years Practitioner: Experience working within an early years or childcare setting. A relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3) is desirable. A caring, patient, and nurturing approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
