Pricing Specialist

Right Now Group are representing a well-established global freight forwarding business seeking an experienced Pricing Specialist to join their expanding team based in the Heathrow area. Our client is looking for a commercially driven individual to manage complex pricing solutions across air and road freight, supporting high-value and time-critical aerospace movements worldwide.

Position: Pricing Specialist
Location: Heathrow
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (Office Based)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + additional benefits

Key Responsibilities for a Pricing Specialist:

• Produce accurate and competitive quotations across air freight and road freight
• Liaise with airlines, haulage providers and charter operators to secure competitive market rates.
• Manage pricing requests for urgent and time-critical aerospace shipments including engines, aircraft parts, tooling and oversized cargo
• Evaluate customer requirements to build tailored, commercially viable pricing solutions.
• Prepare detailed cost models
• Coordinate immediate pricing responses for AOG shipments
• Work closely with Operations and Sales teams to ensure service feasibility, margin control and profitability.
• Monitor market trends including capacity, fuel fluctuations and geopolitical factors to support pricing strategy.
• Ensure all pricing activity adheres to aviation security standards and international customs regulations.

Key Skills for a Pricing Specialist

• At least 2 years experience within freight forwarding pricing, ideally within aerospace or other time-critical sectors.

• Strong understanding of air freight pricing structures and commercial rate building.

• Ideally previous experience supporting urgent or AOG shipments within a fast-paced logistics environment.

• Proficient in freight systems and advanced Excel, with strong analytical capability.

• Confident negotiator with strong commercial awareness.
