A Part-Time middle school math teacher will plan, implement, and deliver high-quality math instruction. This role requires an academically rigorous classroom environment that nurtures the spiritual and intellectual growth of each student. Duties would include teaching one honors math class to 5th grade as well as teaching 6th and 7th grade math to on-level students. The classroom size would be small in order to support individualized instruction. Some students in grades 6 and 7 would have learning plans and supports in place. 19 hours (3-4 hours each day five days a week) would be part-time.

Curriculum and Assessment:
Develop and utilize a variety of instructional strategies, adapt materials to varying learning needs, and use assessment data to adjust teaching methods. Experience with benchmark testing and Universal Design for Learning is preferred.
Student Support:
Provide targeted small-group instruction, intervention, and extensions to ensure every student reaches their full mathematical potential.
Classroom Management:
Collaboration and Communication:
Regularly communicate with parents/guardians and colleagues regarding student progress. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and religious events like school liturgies, prayer services, etc.
