About the Role

<hr> Overview <hr> As a Senior Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for identifying and acquiring new clients, expanding existing relationships, mentoring Business Development Executives & Business Development Associates, and increasing revenue through the sale of annuity services.  <hr> Your Impact <hr>   The essential functions of this position include: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Serve as the primary territory liaison responsible for driving objectively measured incremental growth of all ePlus services for the region. </li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Work with field sales organization to assist with training and skills development for selling of all ePlus services.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Develop and execute sales strategies to identify and acquire new clients for our annuity services business.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to expand business opportunities.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, identify potential clients, and generate leads.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that client needs are met and that solutions are effectively delivered.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring that terms and conditions are favorable to both parties.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support the sale of annuity services.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Monitor industry trends and competitor activities and use this knowledge to improve our sales strategies and offerings.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and revenue generation.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Own region(s) assigned Annuity Services quota and ensure that the targets are met.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Mentor Business Development Executives and Business Development Associates to improve their sales skills and achieve their targets.</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Establish and maintain strong business relationships with Annuity Services Tier 2 partners to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.</li> </ul>   <hr> Qualifications <hr>   <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science or Engineering fields preferred</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Minimum of 7+ years of experience selling services and solutions with significant business development responsibilities</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Sales leadership experience preferred</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proven success selling to solutions at the CXO and VP level</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Willingness to travel to assigned territories</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Extensive knowledge and experience selling in complex ratable services</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and time-management skills</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to work well in matrix managed environment</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Proven ability to leverage subject matter experts to further the sales process</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Possess ability to work independently. </li> </ul>   <hr> Position Specifics <hr>   The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $125,000 and $140,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure includes variable pay through commissions based on individual sales performance. This means your earning potential can substantially increase based on your sales achievements. ePlus offers a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility, employee stock purchase program, and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and personal leave), dependent on the position offered.
