About the Role

<p> Holt Automotive is working on behalf of a respected family-run dealer group in the Agricultural & Groundcare sector to recruit a <strong>Garden Machinery Mechanic</strong> working on a mobile basis, covering Guildford and surrounding areas.</p>
<p> <strong>About the Role<br /></strong><br /> As a <strong>Garden Machinery Mechanic</strong>, you will play a vital role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of garden machinery including mowers, hedge trimmers, strimmers, compact tractors, and similar equipment. You will deliver exceptional service to customers while being part of a friendly and supportive team at this well-established, customer-focused business.</p>
<p> <strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong><br /> We are looking for someone who:</p>
<ul>
<li>Holds a valid UK driving licence.</li>
<li>Has previous experience working with garden machinery (or similar sectors such as agricultural, plant, or small engine equipment).</li>
<li>Possesses strong technical knowledge of small petrol/diesel engines, basic electrics, and mechanical systems.</li>
<li>Demonstrates excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer service.</li>
<li>Holds a land-based engineering or small engine qualification (advantageous but not essential).</li>
