<p>The Finance Director EMEA is a senior member of the leadership team, partnering closely with the Managing Director to drive financial strategy and long-term value creation. The role combines hands-on financial stewardship with strategic business advisory, providing commercial insight to support decision-making across the organization.</p>
<p>Leading finance teams in The Netherlands and Dubai, the Finance Director has full responsibility for financial planning, performance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. The role plays a critical leadership position during periods of growth and change, overseeing capital requirements, taxation, debt, equity, and acquisitions, while developing a high-performing finance function aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.</p>

<span><span><b><span><span><span>Key Duties & Responsibilities:</span></span></span></b></span></span><br />
<ul>
<li>Strategic Leadership: Partnering with MD EMEA and CFO Global on strategic goals, change projects, and market expansion.</li>
<li>Financial Control & Reporting: Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, P&L, KPIs, and ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial and tax data.</li>
<li>Business Partnering: Providing sharp, action-oriented insights to commercial, supply chain, and production teams.</li>
<li>Team & Shared Services Management: Leading local finance teams, business/operational controlling, and managing EMEA finance shared services (accounting, cashflow, credit, data).</li>
<li>IT Reporting & Systems Governance: Overseeing financial and operational IT reporting, ensuring data integrity, consistency of reporting tools, alignment with global systems, and effective collaboration with IT on system improvements and automation.</li>
<li>Global Finance Collaboration: Working closely with the Global Finance team on cross-functional initiatives, standardization projects, process improvements, and the rollout of global policies and systems.</li>
<li>Risk, Control Environment & Compliance: Holding end-to-end responsibility for the financial control environment, including internal controls, policies, procedures, risk management, liquidity oversight, and compliance with internal governance and external regulatory requirements.</li>
<li>Integration: Managing financial integration of acquisitions in rapidly growing markets.</li>

<li>Bachelor’s / Master / MBA degree in finance, business administration, accounting or economics</li>
<li>10+ years extensive experience in international/medium/large enterprise finance, teams often with corporate exposure.</li>
<li>Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational abilities.</li>
<li>High level of proactivity, integrity, and adherence to professional standards</li>
<li>Expertise in strategic finance, commercial finance, and financial modeling/analytics.</li>
<li>Expertise in local Tax laws</li>
<li>Experience with ERP/data systems (e.g., Exact Globe) and M&A integration.</li>
</ul>

<li>Professional & Technical Expertise: Qualified accountant (or equivalent) with strong analytical, mathematical, reasoning, and IT skills, able to structure complex business problems and deliver accurate, insightful financial information.</li>
<li>Strategic & Commercial Leadership: Commercially astute, technically strong, and influential leader capable of operating effectively at both strategic and operational levels, including high-pressure and critical decision-making environments.</li>
<li>Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English, with the ability to engage senior management, address inquiries or complaints, and work closely with international finance teams.</li>
<li>Drive, Integrity & Governance: Energetic, highly motivated, and innovative, with a strong commitment to excellence, business growth, high integrity, openness, and good governance.</li>
<li>Adaptability & Innovation: Enquiring mindset with the ability to stay ahead of new technologies, respond effectively to challenges, and continuously improve processes and outcomes.</li>
