If you want to take your manufacturing expertise and strong leadership skills to the next level, then our Production Manager opening might be what you are looking for. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee end-to-end material flow through the finishing and inventory stages across multiple shifts, providing direction for processing, shipping and receiving, and Dura-Bar Metal Services operations at our Woodstock facility. You’ll be a leader of leaders, with several supervisor-level direct reports to coach and influence as they lead their respective teams towards our shared goal of producing a high-quality product in a safe and efficient manner. You’ll also leverage your continuous improvement mindset to optimize productivity and quality while reducing cost, waste, and downtime. Our location in small town Woodstock, Illinois, is a commutable distance from the Chicago suburbs and surrounding communities, including southern parts of Wisconsin, offering anything from rural to urban living. Company-paid relocation assistance is available. What you'll need to bring: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, such as engineering or related field OR 8 years of experience 7+ years of experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. 3+ years of experience supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated abilities in planning, delegation, communications, problem solving, and decision making. Demonstrated experience in cost reduction through process improvements, Continuous Improvement techniques, and project management. Proficiency in computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite. What will set you apart from other candidates: Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement activity. Experience working with iron or other metals. Maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing environment. Experience in an organization with ISO/Quality System Requirements #LI-JF1 #LI-Onsite The annual hiring range for this position is: $111,500-$139,400. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on various factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and qualifications. Compensation decisions are tailored to the unique circumstances of each position and candidate.
