About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Corporate Development & Strategy Manager to join the team at ITRS. Reporting to our Global Head of Corporate Development & Strategy, you will play a crucial role. You will support our strategic growth initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and executing corporate development opportunities. These opportunities include mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments.
You will work closely with the executive leadership team, our private equity sponsors and cross-functional teams across the business to drive our long-term strategic objectives.
You will receive a permanent, full-time contract, working from our London HQ with a hybrid work schedule.
As a Corporate Development and Strategy Manager, you will:
Execute M&A transactions: Lead transactions end to end, manage due diligence, deal structuring, provide negotiation support, co-ordinate internal stakeholders and external advisors to successful completion.
Evaluate and develop M&A opportunities: Lead market analysis, target assessment and valuation work, translating complex commercial and financial analysis into clear recommendations and investment papers for executive leadership team and investor review.
Originate deals: Support the development of ITRS's M&A strategy and proactively identify, prioritise and develop acquisition and partnership opportunities aligned to our corporate objectives.
Drive strategic projects: Contribute to broader strategic initiatives including market assessments, category reviews and long-term planning exercises.
Manage key internal stakeholders: Act as a trusted partner to Product, Engineering, Sales and Finance teams to assess strategic fit, validate assumptions and support integration planning and value realisation.
Create executive outputs: Work closely with the executive leadership team to develop strategic narratives and Board-level materials, synthesising analysis and cross-functional inputs into clear and meaningful outputs.
Requirements
3+ years' experience managing the delivery of live transactions, either in corporate development, investment banking, transaction services or strategy consulting
Attained ACA / CA or CFA (or equivalent) qualifications
Strong academic background with a degree from a leading university
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with ability to build complex financial and valuation models, enable scenario analysis and dynamically link, as well as form independent commercial judgement on assumptions and outputs
Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, with ability to produce well-formatted, board-quality outputs
Demonstrated experience of managing workstreams and external advisors
The ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
High intellectual rigour, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience in B2B software or technology is advantageous
