About the Role

About the role We’re currently seeking an IT Systems & Compliance Administrator to join our extraordinary team at Transcend. In this role, you will own the reliability, security, and usability of the internal systems that power Transcend’s day-to-day work. You will also have shared ownership of compliance tasks such as handling security questionnaires and managing external audits with our security, sales, and engineering teams. As a proficient individual contributor, you will apply professional expertise and established company policies and procedures to independently resolve a variety of IT issues and deliver well-scoped projects that keep our people productive and our environment safe. This is a remote, Exempt, Full-Time position based in the United States. The successful candidate must have valid work authorization, as visa sponsorship is not available. Working hours are 9am-5pm Pacific Standard Time. This role reports directly to the Director of Information Systems.   What you'll do <ul> <li>Compliance Responsibilities:</li> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with Security and GRC functions to maintain technical controls for audits like SOC II, ISO 27001, and HIPAA</li> <li>Partner with Security and Sales functions to automate and oversee responses to incoming security questionnaires from prospects and existing customers</li> </ul> <li>IT Responsibilities:</li> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Administer and support core IT systems like our Identity Provider, SSO systems, Google Workspace, and device MDM</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Serve as the primary escalation point for IT requests and incidents</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Identify recurring issues and friction points, implementing process or tooling improvements over time to continuously improve our IT systems</li> </ul> <li>Responsibilities related to both IT and Compliance:</li> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Handle security reviews of new and existing vendors</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Create and maintain documentation and runbooks for how to perform common IT and compliance tasks</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Manage and automate user lifecycle across systems in collaboration with HR and Security teams</li> </ul> </ul>   Who you are   Required <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Minimum level of education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">2+ years of hands-on experience in IT systems administration, compliance, or a similar corporate IT/compliance role in a cloud-first environment</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication and problem-solving skills</li> </ul> Preferred <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with modern AI tooling and automating a modern IT and/or Compliance stack </li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Prior experience at a startup with fewer than 500 employees or other fast-paced environment</li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Experience evaluating, implementing, and managing SaaS tools at scale, including security review and integration with SSO</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description">Compensation Information <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;">Our comprehensive compensation packages play a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to bringing data rights to everyone. </li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">The compensation pay range represents our reasonable expectation for this role.
