We’re currently recruiting for an experienced
Management Accountant to join a busy, fast‑paced finance team on a 9‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a hands‑on role, offering the opportunity to work at the heart of the business and support both senior and operational stakeholders.
Previous experience producing management accounts is essential, along with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a finance function.
Key Responsibilities- Preparing and managing monthly and year‑end management accounts, including reporting packs and supporting schedules
- Working closely with senior and operational management to analyse financial performance and support interpretation of results
- Overseeing the CAPEX reporting process, including control, analysis, budget reporting and variance analysis
- Liaising with external auditors during the year‑end audit process
- Assisting with internal audits across multiple sites to ensure billing accuracy and compliance with internal controls and policies
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
- Acting as a key point of contact for financial information and support across the wider business
The successful candidate will be a strong team player with a genuinely collaborative approach, able to work effectively with colleagues across finance and the wider business. They will have excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present information clearly and build positive working relationships. A high level of accuracy and strong numerical ability are essential, alongside a keen eye for detail.
