About the Role
Head of ICT & Digital Services - Fixed Term<br><br>An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and strategically minded Head of ICT & Digital to lead the delivery of an enterprise-wide digital, data and technology transformation programme within a large, complex organisation.<br><br>This is a fixed-term appointment to April 2028, with a clearly defined outcome: to design, mobilise and deliver a step-change in digital capability, operating model, and ICT service performance.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li>Provide strategic leadership for all ICT, digital and data services<br><br></li><ul><li>Lead the development and execution of a defined transformation programme, delivering against agreed outcomes, timelines and benefits<br><br></li><li>Orchestrate complex organisational change, aligning technology, people, processes and governance<br><br></li><li>Ensure cyber resilience, robust data governance and secure service delivery<br><br></li><li>Oversee ICT operations, architecture, applications, infrastructure and service delivery<br><br></li><li>Manage significant revenue budgets and capital investment aligned to transformation objectives<br><br></li><li>Build effective relationships across senior leadership, partners and delivery stakeholders<br><br></li></ul></ul>Candidate Profile<br><br><ul><li>Significant senior leadership experience within ICT in large, complex organisations<br><br></li><ul><li>Demonstrable experience across both public and private sector environments<br><br></li><li>Proven track record of leading and directing major organisational transformation programmes, including: <br><br><ul><li>Mergers and acquisitions<br><br></li><li>Multi-site / multi-organisation outsourcing or insourcing<br><br></li></ul></ul></li><ul><li>Proven capability in orchestrating complex, enterprise-wide change programmes<br><br></li><li>Strong commercial, financial and strategic capability<br><br></li><li>Experience leading geographically dispersed, multi-disciplinary teams<br><br></li><li>Outstanding communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with credibility at executive and board level<br><br></li><li>Relevant professional accreditation (e.g. Chartered IT Professional or equivalent), or commitment to achieve<br><br></li></ul></ul>Benefits<br><br><ul><li>£120,000 - £140,000 + Senior Benefits Package<br><br></li></ul>
