This primary school has built a strong, supportive resource base for pupils with additional needs, and they’re looking for a confident 1:1 Teaching Assistant who can step in and make an immediate impact.
You’ll be working closely with pupils who need consistent, structured support, helping them access learning, manage emotions, and feel part of the school community.
The role:
1:1 support for pupils with SEND
Supporting behaviour, communication, and routines
Working alongside an experienced SEND team
Contributing to progress tracking and pupil development
You’ll need:
Solid experience in a 1:1 or SEND setting
Confidence managing behaviour and emotional needs
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
The ability to build strong, trusting relationships
This isn’t a “just support” role. You’ll be a key part of the child’s progress and daily school experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
